The CEO Career Fair 2009 is a job and practicum fair for local and international companies in the Philippines to congregate and build a stronger connection to the UPLB community. It is a one day event with free admission, open to all interested students especially to the graduating students and those who will be taking their practicum. Invited participants will include Engineering Congress delegates, Executives' Challenge Quizzers and the rest of the UPLB community and nearby colleges/universities in Laguna.

The venue may accommodate 200-300 seated participants and a maximum of twenty four (24) company booths. Exhibitors are entitled to publicity packages composed of print ads, streamers, radio plugs and web banners. A first-confirmation-first-served basis will be implemented due to limited slots.

This event opens a lot of opportunities for the graduating students while the undergraduate students may gather insights on their career options and have a right start on their practicum or on-the-job training.

The Engineering Congress includes speakers from various sectors presenting noted academic papers and the latest innovations in the different fields of engineering specifically Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Agricultural and Industrial engineering in the Philippines with the theme, "Achieving Great Milestones in Innovation and Technology by Strengthening the Foundations of Engineering." It will be participated by UPLB constituents, Engineering Congress delegates, Executives' Challenge Quizzers and nearby colleges/universities in Laguna.

A career talk will proceed after the seminar to give necessary information for the participants in order to weigh their options as they pursue their engineering career.

The Engineering Congress seminar will be held side by side with the Career Expo 2009, a job fair that will be held in the same venue.
